Full event explanation - Triple Trouble Wurm Cobalt

Escort:

 

First we have to escort an Asura from Firthside Vigil Waypoint to the arena.

 

On the way we have to kill some Eggs, Wurms and a Husk.

First phase:

 

At the beginning the Cobalt Wurm Head will be immune to all incoming damage due to the 20 stacks of Slick Skin. To remove the Slick Skin and get the Wurm vulnerable, you have to place 20 powder kegs in front of the Wurm Head (marked with a red arrow).

 

The powder kegs will spawn in one of three areas:

 

- North of the wurm on the beach (Called beach spot)

- East on the wreckage of a ship in the water (Called jumping puzzle)

- South on a platform in the water (Called plank)

 

Only one area at a time will have kegs to pick up, marked by a red barrel icon on the mini map. The location will change every 2 minutes.

 

You have to carry the powder kegs and place them near the Wurm on the spot that is marked with a red arrow. Powder kegs will last on the ground for 20 seconds, after which, they will be removed. Therefore, we have 20 seconds to place 20 kegs on the spot before they start disappearing.

 

Using a teleport skill or getting hit by a husk will cause players to lose their kegs. Players who have lost their keg can pick up a new one after a couple of seconds.

 

During the event, Cobalt tries to spit Great Jungle Wurm Eggs and Champion Partially Digested Husks. We always run with people that block the Wurm's attacks (called Diboof) and deal condition damage to deal with the Eggs and Husks. If the Wurm does a spin or spit, dodge out of the appearing orange fields. Also avoid to get hit by the Husks (Landing spots are marked with squad markers).

After 20 kegs are placed, the Wurm gets vulnerable and you can damage it for 30 seconds. Make sure to stand in the middle of the Wurm to hit the double damage spot. Place down fire fields and blast them for might. Warriors place their Banners and Battle Standard outside the stack so nobody pick those up. Elementalist use your Conjure Frost Bow (use skill 4 then skill 3 and drop it) and Conjure Lightning Hammer (skill 4 then keep using skill 1) inside the stack for other players to pick up.

 

After 30 seconds the Wurm will regain the Slick Skin.

 

Before we repeat the process of running for kegs, we have to clear the arena from Veteran Wurms.

 

We will repeat that process until we get the Wurm down to 10% HP. After that, we have to wait for the other two Wurms and organize the last burn phase.

 

Once a Wurm Head has been decapitated, it will burrow underground and the timer will be set to 1 minute. If the other two Great Jungle Wurms are not decapitated within this time, the event will fail. So we always have to make sure to kill all 3 heads at the same time.

 

 

Second phase:

 

When all Wurm Heads are decapitated, they will unburrow and you have 2 minutes to kill them. They will use 3 attacks you have to watch out.

1. It will charge to a random player and kill everything in its way. Make sure to always stack on the commander to hinder the Wurm charging too far away and dodge out of its way.

2. It will flop up and down causing knockback.

3. It will wiggle around. This attack is harmless and you can go on damaging.

 

After this is done, a portal will appear nearby which will bring players to Firthside Vigil Waypoint where players may claim their rewards.
